imitator ⦁ swelcom: the next evolution of playlist. a long time fan of traditional playlists

the traditional playlists of this century, are the evolution of the custom compact disk of the 1990s. the custom CD, was the evolution of the mix tape of the 1980s. mix tapes were the natural progression of recording a song off the radio, onto a cassette tape, from the 1970s

who doesn’t love traditional playlists?

we love them. we even love the modern evolution of the traditional playlist, from the twenty-teens, which is computer generated, rather than hand made. these computer generated playlists have their place in the streaming music world of the 2020s. these computer generated playlists are wonderful and they are definitely here to stay.  this is where the evolution of the playlist makes a split;

the next generation of the computer generated playlist and the next generation of the hand made playlist. for now, the computer generated playlist follows the traditional playlist format

a handmade playlist can of course follow a traditional format as well.  the i⦁s playlists are examples of non-traditional playlists. they can be a pathway to finding more of what you’re already paying for

a playlist i⦁s what unites us

let the music unite you

do you ever wonder, ever care what other people listen to? some people don’t, maybe you do  can the whole world ever be united? is that too much to ask? would it not take something huge like music to transcend our many differences?

this playlist i⦁s for me. this playlist i⦁s for you. this playlist i⦁s for everyone

you’re streaming service panders to its listeners in its own brilliant and wonderful way. always recommending more of what you’ve been listening to lately is a beautiful thing. the unfortunate unintended side effect is that it divides people. it groups us into genre generation gender driving an ever wider wedge

many people are happy to stick with the music they already like. some could care less what anybody else listens too. but here you are having read this far. are you interested in how to break this self perpetuating pattern?

easy enough. a playlist i⦁s your answer. when you’re streaming service starts to bug, because it’s been recommending and playing the same songs over and over and over again and again, you can listen to an i⦁s playlist to reset your recommendations

all you do is trust your tastes and follow your discovery into new direction after new direction. that easy, your streaming service will have a whole new person to recommend to. over time you be where you started. if it starts to bug, do another i⦁s reset.  if enough of us reset enough, we can begin to collectively shrink the wedge that divides us

a playlist i⦁s fun

never get tired of hearing a playlist. this i⦁s the i⦁s design

each playlist by i⦁s, sticks to a theme that transcends decade or genre, all telling one story. They DO NOT get boring by design  the listener often experiences gratifying Eureka!

Exclaiming, “this  i⦁s a great song, i haven’t heard this song in so long!” and then they start to boogie, or they exclaim “this  i⦁s a great song, who i⦁s this?!” and then they start to boogie

it would appear and hopefully someday it can be proven that these playlists can have a measurable healing effect on a person. they may even have a healing effect on the soul

the important thing i⦁s each person finds the playlist that’s right for their own needs. that journey  i⦁s part of the fun that guarantees not get boring  and when each of us find our true playlist, in this way we will also heal the world

dear imitators, it can feel like a science, it can feel like an art, but we humbly remind ourselves that we are  making a craft. so take your playlists seriously, but please have fun with them too
